SEARCH WARRANT YIELDS DRUG ARRESTS
PIERRE PART--- Sheriff Mike Waguespack reports that on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 6 p.m., the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics division served a search warrant at 151B Louis Lane, Napoleonville. When agents arrived several subjects took off running from the residence. Glenn P. Johnson, who resides at 151B Louis Lane, was arrested on scene. Travis D. Lang, who resides at 212 Telegraph Street, was arrested after a short foot pursuit by officers. Deputies located cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana during their search.
Glenn Johnson was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center for 40:967– Possession of Schedule 2, 40:966 – Possession of Schedule 1 Marijuana, 40:1033 – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $26239 and is still in custody at this time. Travis Lang was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center for 40:966 Possession of Schedule 1 Marijuana, 40:967 – Possession of Schedule 2, Crack Cocaine, 14:108 – Resisting an Officer, 14:130.1 – Obstruction of Justice. His bond was set at $51000 and he has since bonded out.
