Pat Joffrion to speak at D’ville’s library

From being struck by lightning as a small child to his storied achievements on and off the race track, life’s been a real adventure for Paincourtville native Pat Joffrion.  Now, this accomplished local businessman comes to Ascension Parish Library in Donaldsonville to discuss all the twists and turns that led to his newfound career as a writer.  Joffrion, a licensed commercial pilot and U.S. Merchant Marine Captain, will reveal the inspirations behind his riveting tales of suspense fiction.  In addition, he will be signing copies of his two most recent works, Complicit and Unknown Justice.  This Turn the Page event takes place Thursday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m.  Registration is required to attend, so call the library at 473-8052 to reserve your spot, today.
