DHS remembers, honors Brandon Augusta

Donaldsonville High School administrators presents Brandon Augusta’s family with a number-3 jersey in honor of the murdered teen.

The Donaldsonville High School administration, staff and coaches honored freshman Brandon Augusta, 15, who was going to be a member of the Donaldsonville High School football team. In August, Augusta was reported missing and later found dead on the bank of the Mississippi River in Donaldsonville.

DHS Associate Principal Darryl Comery presented Augusta’s mother, Katrina and other family members with a number-3 jersey.

The Ascension Parish Sheriffs office is still investigating and interviewing people about Brandon's death. The reward for information leading to an arrest has been increased to $5,000.
