Lowery Middle donates Thanksgiving baskets to families in need

Lowery Middle School administrators and staff partnered with the churches in the community to collect goods to donate to families in need for Thanksgiving. The school chose seven families to supply a basket filled with food items that could be prepared Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Not only did the school provide the food items, but they also hand-delivered them as well. On the Monday before Thanksgiving, Principal Nicole Grimes led her staff in riding the community to help families of her students.
