St. Joseph’s Altar set for March 22

The St. Joseph Society of Donaldsonville announces its annual St. Joseph Altar to be held at St. Francis Church Hall on Sunday, March 22. Father Paul will bless the altar at 10:15 a.m.

Before 10:30 a.m. mass and the ritual of the saints will follow at 11 a.m.  Food will be served to the public after 11 a.m. and all food is no charge as this is the sacrifice that the altar is constructed in honor of giving as St. Joseph did in the bible. Food can be taken out or eaten at the church hall, which has just been remodeled.

On Saturday, March 21 the St. Joseph Society members will march from the parish hall at Ascension Catholic Church and attend Mass as a group at the 4 p.m. mass.
