DHS Air Force JROTC to host First Responder’s Luncheon on April 2

The DHS Air Force JRTOC will host its annual First Responder’s Luncheon on April 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the JROTC Gym.

Sergeant Robert Oates said the cadets host the luncheon to show appreciation to those who serve and keep the community safe.

“It’s a way to teach them to honor our servicemen and women who aren’t necessarily our fighting in war protecting our borders, but those who keep us safe locally,” Sgt. Oates said.

 The JROTC cadets will serve Jambalaya and White Beans with a choice of beverage and dessert.
