Two DHS students receive U.S. Marine Corps scholarships

     On March 15, Camille Christy, II and Dalton Marchand, III received full academic scholarships from the U.S. Marine Corps, presented by SSgt. Paris B. Harrington. The scholarships include $180 thousand to any college in the the United States.

     Christy and Marchand both scored in the highest percentile on the Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery Test making them eligible for nearly all of the 350 jobs offered through the Marines.

     “Congratulations and best wishes to Camille Christy II and Dalton Marchand III,” a DHS spokesperson said. “Donaldsonville High School is proud to have you represent us as you serve our country.”
