4 Library things to do this month

-CD Sun Catchers: The library will transform CD's into eye-catching decorative pieces on April 18 at 4 p.m. This program is designed for teens.

-Sharpie Tie-Dye: The Donaldsonville library is hosting a tie-dye event on April 20 at 4 p.m. for tweens in grades fourth through eighth. Bring you own white or light colored cotton t-shirt, pillowcase or socks. All other materials will be provided.

- ACT test: The Ascension Parish Library in Donaldsonville is will administer a free practice ACT test on April 22. Tests begin at 9 a.m. and lasts approximately four hours. Space is limited, register at any library location.

- STEAM program: STEAM is an educational initiative which addresses science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The Donaldsonville library will host Storybook STEAM program, where attendees will pair classic fairy tales with interactive STEAM based activities to make learning fun and exciting for your child on Tuesday, April 25. This program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is limited to children ages four through six and their families.
