Obscenity arrest made

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cory L. Butler, 26, of 112 Tyler Lane, Belle Rose, LA, in connection with an incident which occurred on July 31, 2017 in Belle Rose.

On that date, deputies responded to a complaint of a black male subject standing in the window of a mobile home exposing himself.

Deputies conducted an investigation, interviewing witnesses as well as the suspect. Detectives did a follow-up investigation which produced evidence indicating Butler was the violator.

An arrest warrant was issued resulting in Butler’s arrest on Thursday. Butler was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on a count of:
