Assumption Arrests August 23-25
Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jerome J. Zeringue, 53, of 1114 Lee Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop near Labadieville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed the vehicle driven by Zeringue commit a traffic violation. The deputy executed a stop on the vehicle and proceeded to interview the driver. The deputy noted that Zeringue appeared to be intoxicated.
As a result of the interview and other observations, Zeringue was placed under arrest. During the arrest process, a quantity of marijuana was seized. Zeringue was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Expired or Cancelled License Plate
*D.W.I. (Second Offense)
*Possession of Marijuana (Second Offense, Felony)
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Zeringue was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joseph Anthony Bernard, 18, of 139 Oakville Street, Belle Rose, LA, on traffic drug and weapons counts following a traffic stop Wednesday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy clocked a vehicle southbound on LA 1 at a high rate of speed. The deputy executed a traffic stop near Klotzville and identified the driver as Joseph Anthony Bernard. The deputy noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy conducted an interview of the driver.
Based on that interview and other noted circumstances, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of that search, deputies seized a quantity of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and a .45 caliber handgun. Bernard was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on counts of:
*Speeding
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bernard was incarcerated pending bond hearing.

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Derrick Antoine Labry, 39, of 2040 Esher Place, Marrero, LA, on charges related to a traffic stop late Wednesday night east of Pierre Part, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed the vehicle Labry was driving commit multiple traffic violations and subsequently executed a stop of the vehicle.
The officer proceeded to interview Labry and that interview led to a search of his vehicle. The search yielded a quantity of Hydrocodone which Labry had no prescription for. Labry was arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on counts of:
*Possession of Hydrocodone
*Following too close
*Improper Lane Usage
Labry was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jordan Paul Theriot, 32 of 155 Canal Road, Napoleonville, LA, in connection with a domestic incident which occurred early Friday.
Uniformed patrol deputies responded to a disturbance complaint and made contact with the complainant who indicated that Jordan Paul Theriot physically confronted her, then choked her. Deputies concluded that there was sufficient probable cause to arrest Theriot. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery (Involving Strangulation, Felony)
Theriot was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kathleen Lodrigue, 32, of 135 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on charges related to a domestic matter.
Deputies responded to a complaint at a residence in Bayou L’Ourse in connection to a disturbance early Monday.
Deputies made contact with the complainant and interviewed both the suspect and the victim.
Based on those interviews as well as a number of relative circumstances including child welfare, Kathleen Lodrigue was placed under arrest, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault / Child Endangerment
*Simple Battery
Lodrigue was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Chad John Credeur, 27, of 3958 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, Matthew Joseph Madere, 29, of 5494 Highway 308, Plattenville, LA, Kevin M. Dinino, 23, of 623 Mississippi Street, Donaldsonville, LA and Ashley Elizabeth Truxillo, 25 of 3958 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA on charges related to an investigation by Sheriff’s deputies early Friday morning.
Deputies responded to a call of suspicious activity at a residence near Plattenville, LA. Upon arrival, deputies interviewed Matthew Madere. The officers then interviewed Credeur, Dinino and Truxillo. Those interviews led to consent being obtained to search the residence.
Upon searching the residence, deputies seized quantities of meth-amphetamine, heroin, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, the following charges were filed.
Chad John Credeur:
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Matthew Joseph Madere:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Kevin M. Dinino:
*Possession of Cannabinoids / Synthetic Marijuana
Ashley E. Truxillo:
*Failure to Appear for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Ascension Parish
Kevin M. Dinino was released on bond.
Credeur and Madere were incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Truxillo will be released to Ascension Parish.
