Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Travis Joseph, 37, of 128 Homerun Parkway, Donaldsonville, La., on a count of Second Degree Murder.

On November 6, 2017, deputies responded to a call at a Plattenville business in connection with a female subject who was found unresponsive inside of her vehicle.

The victim, Stormy Boudreaux, 32, of 7352 Wyatt Christopher Lane, Addis, La., was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

An autopsy was conducted and the results indicated through toxicology that Boudreaux died of a combination overdose of Heroin and Fentanyl.

Sheriff’s Office Investigators conducted an extensive investigation, including forensics, and interviewed a number of individuals.

Based on that investigation as well as other considerations, detectives believe that Joseph was the person who provided the lethal dose of Heroin and Fentanyl to Stormy Boudreaux.

Detectives applied for and were granted a warrant charging Travis Joseph with one count of Second Degree Murder.

Joseph was arrested on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Joseph was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on the Second Degree Murder Count. Joseph remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
