Napoleonville man arrested for theft

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reported last week the arrest of 23-year-old Bradley Grisaffe, of 304 Canal Street, Napoleonville, La. in connection with a theft complaint filed on January 16.

Grisaffe sold the jewelry to a Donaldsonville business. According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, he admitted to the theft. Investigators contacted the business and confirmed that Grisaffe had sold the jewelry.

The media release states that deputies responded to a complaint of a theft that occurred between November of 2017 and January 16, 2018. Grisaffe was a person of interest. He was related to the victim and had frequented the victim’s home during this time.

Detectives learned that jewelry and currency valued at $8,000 had been stolen. Grisaffe was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of Felony Theft (Valued at $5,000-$25,000) and was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
