CareSouth, RRAA Museum distribute masks

CareSouth and the River Road African American Museum teamed up Saturday for a drive-through mask distribution in Donaldsonville.

Volunteers also gave out cleaning supplies from the museum location at the corner of Charles Street and Railroad Avenue.

CareSouth is a non-profit provider of medical, dental, and behavioral health services to both insured and uninsured patients.

CareShouth continues to offer drive-through and walk-up COVID-19 testing at 904 Catalpa Street in Donaldsonville. A medical order is not needed. 

The drive-through site is open Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon. Walk-up testing is done at any time during normal operating hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
