Former Donaldsonville basketball coach Greg Hill honored

Former Donaldsonville High School basketball head coach Greg Hill was recognized over the weekend for his contributions to the community.

It was in conjunction with the Greg Hill Basketball Classic held at the Lemann Memorial Center in Donaldsonville.

State representative Ken Brass honored Hill, who coached for more than 30 years.

Brass said Hill has had an impact on many lives throughout the river parishes.

Hill recorded more than 500 wins as a coach at DHS.
