Lowery Elementary School counselor honored with statewide award

Counselor Ashley Churbock Rogillio of Lowery Elementary School in Donaldsonville has been named the Elementary School Counselor of the Year by the Louisiana School Counselors Association.

She has been a school counselor for 11 years, including the past six years at Lowery.

She previously worked in East Baton Rouge Parish at Capitol Middle School and Hope Academy.
