Donaldsonville, Louisiana is located in Ascension Parish and is the 2nd largest historic district in Louisiana. Located in Plantation Country, Mainstreet Donaldsonville is part of the National Trust program Mainstreet USA. Currently looking for progressive student volunteers to use their specialized talents in public relations, economic development, marketing, art, history, computer design and communication skills to help us grow. Grapevine Restaurant, Hambonz Jazz Bar, African-American Museum and many other treasures are located in this city time forgot.

Interns and volunteers actively sought to bring fresh perspectives to our local mom and pop businesses and enlarge our internet presence. Will apply the structure of Mainstreet Louisiana program goals to guide your chosen program area. Students are not required to move or travel to Donaldsonville daily. Choose your own hours. Build your resume and design your own project or internship.

Working closely with Louisiana Tourism,  Culture and Recreation, Parish of Ascension, City of Donaldsonville, Donaldsonville DDD Board of Directors and the wonderful citizens of Donaldsonville.
