Two women arrested in suspected meth operation

Frances Boudreaux, age 31 of 128 Pond Drive, Morgan City

     BAYOU L’OURSE – Sheriff Mike Waguespack reported that on Feb. 1 at approximately 7 p.m., the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance on Aristile Road in Bayou L’Ourse.

     While deputies were enroute, an additional call came in stating that a male subject had been shot in the face. The victim was treated on the scene for a gunshot wound to the face before being transported to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Detectives processed the crime scene for evidence. During the course of the investigation a search warrant was obtained for the residence. During the search of the residence at 203 Aristile Road, deputies located drug paraphernalia and a clandestine drug lab.

     Frances Boudreaux, age 31 of 128 Pond Drive, Morgan City was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Feb. 2 for aggravated second degree battery. Her bond has been set at $10,000. Heather Guillory, age 35 of 203 Aristile Road, Bayou L’Ourse was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Feb. 2nd for creation or operation of a clandestine lab, possession of Hydrocodone, possession of Marijuana, possession of Xanax, possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her bond has been set at $56,239.
