Five arrests made in Pierre Part residential burglary
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports that the Criminal Investigations Division has arrested five people including three juveniles and two adults in connection with an April 3, 2016 residential burglary in Pierre Part.
The homeowner was out of town at the time of the incident and upon return reported that several thousand dollars of personal items had been stolen and the home ransacked.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives were able to identify Kayne Benjamin Ryan Smith, Christopher James Percle and Tager Matthew Rosson along with the three juvenile suspects.
The three juveniles have been arrested and charged in connection with the burglary.
Kayne Benjamin Ryan Smith, 1119 Francis St., Patterson, age 17, is being held in the Morgan City Jail for unrelated charges. Assumption Parish Detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Smith on a charge of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. Smith will be booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center upon his release from the Morgan City Jail.
Christopher James Percle, age 17, 1206 Clements St., Morgan City, is being held in the Berwick City Jail on unrelated charges. Assumption Parish Detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Percle on a charge of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. Percle will be booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center upon his release from the Berwick City Jail.
Detectives also obtained warrants for the arrest of Tager Matthew Rosson,13184 Ribbonwood Drive, Denham Springs, age 18, on charges of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. At the time of this release, Rosson remains at large.
