David LeBlanc is a junior at Ascension Catholic High School.He is 17 years old and has a 4.00 GPA.David's parents are Dave and Rhonda LeBlanc of Donaldsonville.

Favorite course:"I like biology because it's really interesting to learn about the human body."

Teacher who inspired me:"Mr. Eble inspires me.He was my English teacher last year and he challenged me like no one ever has.Mr. Eble made me a better student and person and I am very thankful to him for that."

My greatest challenge:"There never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done.I'm always doing something and almost never have time to rest."

Plans after graduation:"I plan to attend LSU and major in a field of science and eventually work in a research lab.I love science, especially figuring outhow things work."
