Reese Godchaux, 10, Dutchtown Primary student, is a former St. Jude patient and cancer survivor. For the past 4 years, Godchaux has collected Christmas socks to send to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Reese Godchaux, 10, Dutchtown Primary student, is a former St. Jude patient and cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) when she was 2 years old. She received 3 years of chemotherapy through St. Jude and has now been in remission for over 5 years. For the past 4 years, Godchaux has collected Christmas socks to send to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. This year she collected over 25 pairs! “She enjoys doing this because she remembers the smile it brought to her face when she was a patient,” said her mother, Brandi. “She wants to spread Christmas cheer to those who are receiving treatment this holiday season. Her silbings are Hannah Godchaux,11, and Gage Godchaux, 9.
