Dutchtown's Sheily Bell honored for 50 years in education

Dutchtown High School band director Sheily Bell was recognized during an Ascension Parish School Board meeting for her 50 years in teaching.

Along with being honored for a half century in education, she also was awarded Outstanding Bandmaster of the Year for 2022.

Dutchtown paid tribute to her with a social media post, thanking her for her commitment and dedication to the Griffins.
