Watch live: Funeral service held for Tyre Nichols in Memphis
A funeral service will be held for Tyre Nichols at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church Wednesday at 1 p.m., with a eulogy by Rev. Al Sharpton as well as a call to action by national civil rights attorney Ben Crump.
Nichols died Jan. 10, three days after an encounter with Memphis Police that left him critically injured. The video of the incident was released by the City of Memphis Friday.
Also set to be at the funeral alongside Nichols' family is Vice President Kamala Harris; Tamika Palmer, the mother of Breonna Taylor; and Philonise Floyd, the brother of George Floyd.

Following Nichols' death Sharpton called Nichols' parents to let them know he would support them in any way he could.
"They asked me if I would come do a eulogy. I told them I'd be honored to do it," Sharpton said.
