Graffeo, Lois

Lois Graffeo, 94, a native of Oak Grove and resident of Donaldsonville, died on Friday, February 15, 2013. When Lois was able to participate in her hobbies she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting. Another favorite hobby she enjoyed was singing. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Jerry Graffeo and wife Mary, Sarah Jane and husband, Jerry Daigle, and Mary and husband, Ronald Bergeron; and seven grandchildren, Alex Graffeo, Nolan Graffeo, Samantha Tomich, Jerry Daigle Jr., Jennifer Daigle, Timothy Bergeron, and David Bergeron; and nine great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Graffeo; parents, Andrew and Sarah Carroll Roberson; five sisters, Mary R. Bradley, Rossie Walters, Annie Belle Chain, Dolly R. Ruggiero, and Laura R. Robertson; and brother, C.W. Roberson.

Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Chateau D’Ville for their loving care of Lois.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Smokebend. Entombment to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Mausoleum. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
