Hirsch, Pierre Leonard

Pierre Leonard Hirsch passed away on February 14, 2013 at his home in Danville, California after a brave fight with cancer.  He was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana on November 28, 1950 to Gaston N. Hirsch and Olga L Hirsch of Alsace-Loraine, France. He was 62 years old. Pierre was employed by Ruderfinn Inc. as Vice President of Investor Relations. Before moving to California he worked for Louisiana Land and Exploration and Freeport-McMoran. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa Hirsch, one beloved daughter, April Corinne Hirsch, one brother, Dr. Michel Y. Hirsch and sister-in-law Mrs. Ruth Hirsch and a brother-in-law Ron Fischer. He is also survived by 2 nephews, Brian Hirsch and Jon Hirsch, and 2 nieces Michele H. Bonadona and Holly H. Pilgrim. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gaston and Olga Hirsch, In-Laws Dr. Alvin Fischer and Mrs. Sarah Fischer and his devoted cousin Claudette Hamlett. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February, 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Temple Isaiah, Lafayette, CA; interment will follow at Oakmount Cemetary, Lafayette, CA.  In lieu of Flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Walnut Creek Wellness Support Community, 3276 McNutt Avenue, Walnut Creek, CA 94597.
