The Church

Minister Marienetta A. Williams

Some may look at the church as the gathering place where people of all ethnicities, social and economic backgrounds meet on Sunday and maybe a few days of the week to praise, pray and worship a magnificent God and declare His goodness as the Holy Spirit perform miracles of divine healing.

The Church of the living God is a manifesting Spirit dwelling on the inside of all born again believers and today as in age pass we are the Church. The true Church is not a building but people of God who exercise their faith as Christians, to live holy and righteous everyday of the week, bringing glory and honor to our Father as we shine light in a dark world. I thank God for the Sanctuary (the building) the house of God designated to corporately unite our voices in song and bear witness to His truth as the pastor makes a deposit in us from the word of God which is designed to strengthen our inner being and help us grow up in Christ. The Bible declares, “ For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Eph 2:10)

We should enter into the sanctuary with thanksgiving knowing that we serve a good God, awesome in all His ways and He is worthy to be praise. There should always be an expectation and a spirit of exceeding great joy as we grace the present of our Father. We are the Church of The Living God and Jesus is our elder brother who is our great high priest who comfort us through the power of the Holy Spirit, releasing a supernatural empowerment through us that cannot be explained nor denied, we who are believer must just receive and thank Him for his profound love, grace and mercy He continually on shower each of us daily. Go on and let out a Great Big………..Hallelujah praise!

“By Him therefore let us offer the Sacrifice of Praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such Sacrifices God is well pleased.” Never should one leave the sanctuary and not have a changed heart and a mindset to do better and show more love and compassion to one another.

In Psalms 122:1 David declares, “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.” That is the mindset we need when we enter into the house of the Lord ready to empty out everything. Hebrews 12b:1-2 encourages us to “Lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and let us run with patience the race that set before us, looking unto Jesus the author(source) and finisher( perfecter) of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
