Chauvin wins Sunshine Bass Club Tournament

Jerry Chauvin was the winner of Sunshine Bass Club’s fourth tournament of the year on Sunday, April 3. The tournament was held from Doiron’s Landings in Stephenville. The local anglers could fish in the spillway or the Stephenville side of the levee.

Chauvin had five bass from the  very high water spillway that weighed a total of  15 pounds and zero ounces for first place.

Vic Calvaruso was second with four fish that went 14 pounds and 11 ounces. His four pound, 11 ounce fish was “Big Bass” for the event.

David Imbraguglio took third place with five bass for a total of nine pounds, four ounces. Chad Porto was fourth with eight pounds, zero ounces. Kevin Falcon had six pound, 14 ounces for fifth place. Ed Burns Jr., took sixth place with five pounds, 12 ounces.

Sunshine’s Bass Club will participate in ALBC’s “Best Six” tournament to be held at Toledo Bend Lake on April 30-May 1. Representing Sunshine in the tournament will be: Charles Waguespack, David Imbraguglio, Lester Rome, C.J. Bellina, Stephen Rome, and Gerald Rome.
