Dutchtown takes victory over Donaldsonville

On last Friday night, the Tigers of Donaldsonville High traveled to Dutchtown stadium in a game match up. The Griffins beat the Tigers 35-22.

During the first half the Griffins took a cruise as Austen Brown added three touchdowns before halftime. Going into the second half the score was 35-8, Griffins.

Donaldsonville High Quarterback Devon Breaux would not make it easy for the Griffins in the second half.

Breaux finished the game with 355 passing yards and two touchdowns passing and one running.

Jaquel Gant finished with 163 yards and 12 catches, while Leondre James had eight carries and 130 yards.

Donaldsonville will take on Dunham away this Friday. Class 3A Donaldsonville drops 0-2.
