Ascension Catholic and Donaldsonville Basketball Players Make All District Teams

Post Season honors were handed out to local players from Ascension Catholic and Donaldsonville High.  DHS landed Senior Devon Breaux on the 7-3A first team.  Senior Quentin Riley made the second Team for Coach Troy Green’s squad. 

DHS advanced to the Quarterfinals in this year’s 3A playoffs.  Senior Bianca Harvey completed an outstanding four-year career by making first team all district on the girls’ side.  Harvey will be attending Southeastern University in Hammond on a basketball scholarship.

Ascension Catholic landed Freshmen Jeremy Jones on the second team for District 9A. Jones finished the year with a 17.1 scoring average and had several 20 plus point games for Coach Tom Bodart.  Freshmen Delmond Landry and Junior Thomas Gros were selected as Honorable Mention Selections.  The ACHS girls were represented by Freshmen Jordynn Brown on the first team.  Brown led ACHS in scoring and assists this year. Sophomore Kyra Jones and Junior Amber Carter were Honorable Mentions selections. Congratulations to all players for these post season honors and good luck in the future.
