Tigers still searching for second win

The DHS Tiger football team (1-8) is still looking for its second win. Last week, the Tigers went on the road to try their luck against the Port Allen Pelicans ((8-2). DHS was routed 41-14.

Quarterback Leondre James carried the team offensively with two passing touchdowns and throwing for 151 yards. He also carried the ball on 14 rushes for 122 yards with a big 65-yard run.

James turned the ball over once with an interception and he also fumbled the ball once, but the Tigers recovered it.

DHS will play the its senior night and final home game of the season against Brusly High School Panthers Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
