D’Ville Mega Sports Camp Plus

Praise The Lord, brothers and sisters in Christ. God has given brother, Ronald Julien, a vision to reach the children of Donaldsonville with the gospel of Jesus Christ. On any given week, over 90 percent of Americans read or talk about, watch, or participate in sports. What a great way to reach the children of Donaldsonville with the Gospel.

There will be a Mega Sports Camp from July 28 to August 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Lemann Center. City council has approved the use of the facility. All churches, ministries, and businesses in the area are welcome to attend.

The camp will be free and will consist of flag football, basketball, soccer, cheer and praise dance. It will be open to children ages 5 to 15 years old. T-shirts and snacks will also be provided to each camper. Each day the campers will learn Bible verses, teamwork, discipline and hear the Gospel message.

All churches in the area are invited to give of their time, talents and, if possible, treasures to help with this fantastic outreach. This is not to exalt any given church, person, or ministry. It is to exalt and grow God’s Kingdom. It is all about God getting the glory as it says in His Word, 1 Corinthians 1:31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”
