Ascension Catholic’s Chandra Ewen named C.O.Y.; several players make all-district volleyball

The Ascension Catholic volleyball team had a 2014 season like none other. This week, the cherry was added to the cake when the Division V, District 3 All-District Team was announced, led by ACHS head coach Chandra Ewen being named Coach of the Year.

Ewen led the Lady Bulldogs to the district title, advanced to the second round of the playoffs and the team was presented with the CCBVO Sportsmanship Award.

For the players, several made the all-district team:

Julia Beck (Ascension Catholic)
