No. 12 LSU baseball's game against Lamar on Tuesday postponed due to inclement weather

LSU baseball's Tuesday game against Lamar was postponed due to inclement weather, the school announced.

No. 12 LSU will plan to make up the game against the Cardinals later this season.

The Tigers' next game will be Thursday when they open a three-game series against No. 6 Arkansas in Fayetteville. LSU (23-9, 7-5 SEC) trails Arkansas (23-7, 8-4) in the SEC standings by  a game after sweeping Mississippi State, the defending national champion, on the road this past weekend.

LSU heads into the series against the Razorbacks with a better road record (5-1) than home record (2-4) against SEC competition. The Tigers' win against Mississippi State on Saturday marked the first time they had a winning record in conference play since 2019.
