Adam Miller tweet motivates Arkansas basketball in blowout win over LSU
But Adam Miller gave it to them anyway.
Miller, LSU's second-leading scorer, wrote on Twitter after the Tigers' win in December, "we in Fay@Ville next time bring y’all smoke we gone run through it."
The Razorbacks took Miller's words and used them to their advantage, annihilating LSU 60-40 in Fayetteville on Tuesday. The result handed LSU (12-8, 1-7 SEC) its seventh consecutive defeat and handed Arkansas its second straight win in conference play (14-6, 3-5)
According to ESPN, the tweet got printed out and posted around the Razorbacks' locker room prior to the game.
"I couldn't believe it. It was a bad idea for him to put that (tweet) out there," Arkansas guard Davonte Davis said to ESPN prior to Tuesday's game. "I think everybody in the country has seen that tweet. So I hope he comes ready.
"I heard it was his birthday yesterday too, so it's going to be a big one. I've got something coming for him. We all do."

Arkansas held LSU to just 14 points in the first half as Miller finished the game with nine points.
"That's not who we are as a program," LSU coach Matt McMahon told ESPN regarding the incident. "It was a lesson to all of us. We talked about it, we'll grow from it."
