Kaleb Winchester (Ascension Catholic)

The guard heads into his senior season at Ascension Catholic trying to become the school's all-time leading scorer. The electric Winchester will be leading a Bulldog squad that went 16-11 and reached the playoffs last season. He was the team's only first-team all-district selection.

Ne'Kyla Williams (St. Amant)

Senior point guard Ne'Kyla Williams is being looked upon to be the Lady Gators' leader after losing District MVP Kara Gremillion. Williams and St. Amant went 18-13 last season but missed out on the playoffs. During that season, she was a first-team all-district selection.

Jimel London (East Ascension)

Sophomore guard Jimel London may be small in stature, but big things are expected from him in 2015-16. In the second year of head coach Barry Whittington's tenure, London will be trying to guide the Spartans to the postseason after missing out on the playoffs last year.

Rae'Shaun Melancon (Ascension Catholic)

Senior Rae'Shaun Melancan returns as a first-team all-district player for the Lady Bulldogs. She will be looking to lead Ascension Catholic back to the playoffs after a promising year in 2014-15. Last season, the Lady Bulldogs went 17-10 and reached the second round of the playoffs.

Kameron Kelson (St. Amant)

Forward Kameron Kelson transferred from East Ascension to St. Amant during the offseason. He will give a huge boost to a Gator frontcourt that lost both starters down low in Crandell Christoff and Durell Smylie. Kelson and the Gators will be looking to get back into the playoffs after missing out the last two years.

Tyler Smith (Dutchtown)

Forward Tyler Smith returns to Dutchtown, along with two other starters. The Lady Griffins are looking to make the playoffs after falling just short last season. Smith emerged last year as a key contributer down low. She made first-team all-district.

Justin Harris (East Ascension)

The East Ascension 6-foot-6 forward has the potential to be a dominant force down low for the young and hungry Spartans. Harris showed great improvements during East Ascension's 4-1 run to end last season. He is just one of the many weapons Coach Whittington has at his disposal to shuffle in and out of games.

Vanessa Thomas (St. Amant)

Vanessa Thomas returns at forward for St. Amant after a breakout year in her first season as a starter in 2014-15. Thomas is one of the Lady Gators' most hard-nosed players. She will be looked upon to rebound, play tough defense and score in the paint.

Janira Collier (Donaldsonville)

Janira Collier returns as one of Donaldsonville's most dependable players. She has made first-team all-district each of the last two years. She will try to help build on a season where the Lady Tigers went 18-10 during the regular season and made a playoff appearance.

Jamilyn Robinson (Ascension Christian)

Ascension Christian sophomore guard Jamilyn Robinson has been starting since her eighth-grade year. During that time, she has put the Lady Lions on her back. Last season, Robinson was named second-team all-district. Robinson has led Ascension Christian to the playoffs for the last two years.
