Wednesday night was a special one for Donaldsonville High basketball standout Clenard Mollere, Jr., as he signed his letters of intent to continue his basketball career at the College of Alameda, which is located in California, near Oakland.

He is the fourth Tiger to sign with Alameda. The three others were Terrell Brown, Cory Brooks, Jr. and Dewayne Johnson.

Mollere is a two-year starter at guard for Donaldsonville. This past season, he was one of their leading scorers as he helped lead the Tigers to the playoffs.
