The DHS football team ended its season with a win. They beat the St. James Wildcats 12-6 Friday night in St. James. It's the second win of the season for the Tigers in a season that seemed would never end. The program is in a rebuilding phase and head coach Terrence Williams believes the team will improve each year. St. James finishes the season without a win for the second consecutive year.

The Wildcats scored first against the Tigers in the first quarter and went into the half leading 6-0, but DHS led by quarterback Leondre James came back in the second half scoring in each quarter.

James finished the game with 101 yards passing with a touchdown and a rushing touchdown. He connected with receiver Stephen Sullivan, who finished the night with four catches for 25 yards. James also carried the ball 22 times for 82 yards.
