Young Bulldogs split wins with CHSPC

The Ascension Catholic Middle School 7/8th grade Bulldogs football team picked up its first victory of the season on the road at CHSPC, winning 8-0 last weekend.

Jai Williams and Dorian Barber led the ground game, along with quarterback Parker Settoon. The trio helped the Bulldogs score and get the two-point conversion.

The Bulldog offensive line went the whole way in temperatures reaching as high as 95 degrees.

Defensively, the Bulldogs played well and stopped the Hornets inside the 5-yard line to secure the victory.

The Bulldogs' fifth and sixth grade team lost a tough back-and-forth game to CHSPC, 8-0.

The young Bulldogs fought hard in very hot temperatures.

Both teams will be back in action on Oct. 4, at St Jude in Baton Rouge.
