Here is a look of the top 10 high school football teams in Central Louisiana:

1. ASH (5-1): Despite a 28-14 loss to West Monroe, senior running back Jarvis Newton accounted for 158 yards and two touchdowns. LAST WEEK: No. 1. THIS WEEK: vs. Pineville (2-4).

2. Many (5-1): Tigers senior running back London Williams rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns in a 50-0 shoutout over Winnfield. LAST WEEK: No. 2. THIS WEEK: vs. Avoyelles (6-0).

3. Avoyelles (6-0): The Mustangs cruised past Lakeview thanks to Dacareyn Sampson’s 243 total yards and three touchdowns in a 56-14 win. LAST WEEK: No. 3. THIS WEEK: at Many (5-1).

4. Rosepine (5-1): The Eagles are in the driver’s seat in District 5-2A after junior running back Grant Ducote rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns. LAST WEEK: No. 4. THIS WEEK: vs. Vinton (2-4).

5. Jena (5-1): The Giants rushing attack did not miss a beat against Caldwell Parish after Zerrick Jones rushed for 181 rushing yards and three touchdowns. LAST WEEK: No. 5. THIS WEEK: vs. Grant (5-1).

7. Leesville (4-2): Wampus Cats senior receiver Daveion Grubb caught seven passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Bolton. LAST WEEK: No. 7. THIS WEEK: vs. DeRidder (4-2).

8. St. Mary’s (5-1): Tigers junior quarterback Adam Parker was nearly perfect in completing 15 of 16 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown in a 47-18 win over Northwood. LAST WEEK: No. 8. THIS WEEK: at Block (0-6).
