Top performers from the Louisiana football championship games of high school football playoffs

Here are the top performers from all the LHSAA football championships from Dec. 4-11.

Class 5A

Eli Holstein, Zachary: Holstein passed for 257 yards and two touchdowns on 13 of 30 aim in the Broncos' 28-20 win over Ponchatoula in the Class 5A championship game.

Tylon Williams, Zachary: Williams caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.

Noah Tribble, Ponchatoula: Tribble completed 25 of 53 passes for 307 yards and a touchdown.

Amorion Walker, Ponchatoula: Walker caught eight passes for 143 yards and a touchdown.

Class 4A

Danny Lewis Jr., Westgate: Lewis caught six passes for 179 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers’ 14-13 win over Warren Easton in the Class 4A championship game.

Jordan Doucet, Westgate: Doucet completed 12 of 26 passes for 285 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Dedrick Latulas, Westgate: Latulas caught four passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Fredrick Robertson, Warren Easton: Robertson rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries.

Class 3A

Jacob Green, Sterlington: Green made a 40-yard field goal and a 46-yarder in the Panthers' 26-24 win over District 2-3A rival Union Parish in the Class 3A championship game.

J'Keldric Miller, Sterlington: Miller rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Miller's touchdown was the game-winner with 1:07 left.

Trey Holly, Union Parish: Holly rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He also added two catches for 83 yards and a touchdown, as well as seven tackles.

Class 2A

Jalen Robinson, Amite: Robinson passed for 109 yards and rushed for 32 yards in the Warriors’ 17-6 win over Many in the Class 2A championship game.

Ashton Wilson, Amite: Wilson made 17 tackles, including 11 solo. 

Earl Jackson, Amite: Jackson caught three passes for 61 yards and rushed for a touchdown.

London Williams, Many: Williams rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Tackett Curtis, Many: Curtis made 10 tackles, including six solo. 

Class 1A

Homer defense: The Pelicans intercepted a classification record six passes during their 41-28 win over Logansport in the Class 1A championship game. They also returned two for touchdowns.

Ely'Jay Curry, Homer: Curry rushed for 257 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.

Ta'Keviuntae Kidd, Homer: Kidd passed for 77 yards and two touchdowns, while returning a kickoff for another.

Khameron Boykins, Logansport: Boykins completed 21 of 42 passes for 310 yards and three touchdowns.

Jacob Contario, Logansport: Contario had five receptions for 157 yards and a touchdown.

Jayven Claybrook, Logansport: Claybrook caught nine passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Division I

Taelon Nicholas, Catholic-BR: Nicholas rushed for 109 yards on 25 carries in the Bears’ 14-10 win over Jesuit in the Division I championship. He also added two catches for 31 yards.

Daniel Beale, Catholic-BR: Beale made six tackles and recorded two-and-a-half sacks. He also passed for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Jace Larsen, Jesuit: Larsen caught five passes for 109 yards.

Jack Larriviere, Jesuit: Larriviere accounted for 145 yards and a touchdown.

Division II

Harry Beacham, University Lab: Beacham made 13 tackles in the Cubs’ 14-7 win over E.D. White in the Division II championship game.

Derrick Graham, University Lab: Graham scored the go-ahead touchdown and rushed for 55 yards on 12 carries.

Jason Barnes, University Lab: Barnes caught six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.

Jeffrey Diedrich, E.D. White: Diedrich rushed for 115 yards on 30 carries.

Jake Sternfels, E.D. White: Sternfels rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

Division III

Kyle Cannon, St. Charles: Cannon’s go-ahead touchdown on a fumble recovery late in the fourth quarter helped the Comets defeat Lafayette Christian 32-27 for the Division III title. Cannon also had 11 tackles, a sack and an interception.

Ayden Authement, St. Charles: Authement accounted for 97 yards and two touchdowns.

Jujuan Johnson, Lafayette Christian: Johnson rushed for 175 yards on 22 carries. He also went 10-for-26 passing with 93 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Brayden Zeigler, Lafayette Christian: Zeigler made 10 tackles and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

Division IV

Angelo Izzard, Southern Lab: Izzard completed 21 of 31 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns in the Kittens’ 38-14 win over Ouachita Christian in the Division IV championship game. Izzard added 63 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.

Darren Morris, Southern Lab: Morris caught nine passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Shane Foreman, Southern Lab: Foreman made 11 tackles with an interception and fumble recovery.

Thomas Culp, Ouachita Christian: Culp caught seven passes for 74 yards and a touchdow and made nine tackles.

Casey Cobb, Ouachita Christian: Cobb had 11 tackles and two-and-a-half sacks.
