ACHS players fill all-district volleyball squad

It was a wonderful season to be an Ascension Catholic Lady Bulldog as they won a district title and earned a No. 4 seeding for the volleyball playoffs. In the postseason, they made a run to the state semifinals for the first time in five years before losing to eventual state champion McGehee.
In the great run, Ascension Catholic finished with an overall record of 31-11.
Due to their impressive play, nine Lady Bulldogs earned spots on the All-District 3-V team.
Michayla Spano, Rae'Shaun Melancon and Grace Villa all made the first team. Carson Dunn, Julie Beck and Kaylee Burns made the second team. Claudia Rome, Hannah Settoon and Bailey Acosta were all honorable mention selections.
