A Utah millionaire is on the hunt for the perfect wife — and he's got the billboards, online application and exclusive event to help.
The mysterious millionaire and The LDS Matchmaker, a Mormon matchmaking site, have created a "Bachelor"-style search for the perfect match. Billboards advertising the went up early May around Salt Lake City, Utah, according to KSL-TV.
Yes, those billboards along I-15 advertising for the 'LDS Millionaire' are real, and there are already 1,000 future wife applications in.https://t.co/Ll8Dt7HGpS— KSL (@KSLcom)May 15, 2019
While the identity of the millionaire looking for love is a secret, the man is described as a practicing Mormon, from a big family, originally from San Diego, California, is over 6 feet tall and is between 30 and 45 years old.
The site has received more than 1,000 applicants already. One of the creators of the search assured the Salt Lake Tribune that the search is real and sincere.
"This person has tried lots of different avenues and hasn't been successful yet," Erin Schurtz said.
The application has standard questions you would ask a potential partner — occupation, where you grew up, if you want children — along with questions about the applicant's involvement in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, it's not a deal-breaker if the match isn't Mormon, matchmaker on the search Amy Steven Seal told KSL-TV.
Out of the applicant pool, 15 to 20 women will be selected to attend an exclusive where the millionaire and his "team of celebs" get to know each applicant.
If you think you're his perfect match, applications are being accepted at ldsmillionairematchmaker.com through May 31.
